Thandie Newton brightened up the Run, Fat Boy, Run LA premiere last night in her pink dress and springtime beauty look — love it or hate it? — while Amanda Bynes joined in the fun in her standard LBD. David Schwimmer has been giving lots of interviews about sitting in the director's chair, but don't expect his name plastered all over the movie. He said, "I’m really proud of it — it’s just i find it comes across a bit pretentious sometimes when ads or commercials have 'a film by such and such.' It always seems to me, when I’m watching the trailer or ad, that it’s a big ego stroke." We guess David will have to wait until the critics weigh in for his confidence booster — check back in later this week to see what Buzz thinks of his film directorial debut.

Reese Witherspoon, Christina Ricci and James McAvoy brought their quirky little movie, Penelope to LA last night. Reese had on her best businesswoman pants and a big smile on her face posing for the cameras as both a star and producer of the project. Hell, she even stopped mid-red carpet to take a phone call (too funny). Amanda Bynes who is never one to miss a chance to show off those stems these days was around in yet another LBD. While this movie didn't appeal to me right off the bat, it's hard to deny the great trio of Christina-James-Reese. Maybe I'll have to check out that pig snout for myself after all.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is the latest celebrity to join Minnie Driver, Dave Navarro and this guess who sexy starlet in baring all for Vaseline's "skin is amazing" campaign. Amanda Bynes is also a part of the act and she joined SMG last night in NYC to celebrate the portraits of the beautiful stars which are also available on eBay where the money raised will benefit The Coalition of Skin Diseases. Amanda looks age appropriate and adorable as always while Sarah Michelle is scaring us a little. Her smoky eyes and tight hair might have been meant to be sexy but it comes across as a bit harsh. We love the light hearted SMG but perhaps Freddie likes this feisty version.

Last night many PYTs headed to the Frederick's of Hollywood fashion show to benefit the Clothes Off Our Backs Foundation in LA. Attendees included the Simpson sisters, an Olsen, High School Musical stars and Dita. Which of these things is not like the other? While Dita may standout in this crowd, she's also the one we associate most with sexy lingerie. Dita was just one of the many celebrity designers who created corsets to be auctioned off. Other guest designers included Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson. Kristen Bell, who made her debut appearance on Heroes this week, was also there to support the good cause. Jessica Simpson was clearly having a blast with her Major Movie Star co-star Cheri Oteri. Oh how we've missed Jessica's fun facial expressions.

Ben headed back to the west coast to reunite with his brother Casey but this time it wasn't to do more promotional work for their film, Gone Baby Gone. Last night at the Hollywood Film Festival both brothers were honored (but more on that soon). They partnered up for the red carpet walk where they shared the floor with the beautiful Janet Jackson and adorable Amanda Bynes who was also there with her many Hairspray co-stars. John Travolta clearly won worst dressed with his checkered suit but his wife Kelly Preston was by his side to ease his pain. As for Jennifer Connelly, she has either had a real hit or big misses these days, however, last night she was clearly doing her best Dita Von Teese.

Mandy graced the cover of VF way back when she was a teenager. She shared the cover with the Olsens, Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff. This April she didn't land a cover but she certainly scored with a stunning spread! It's a far cry from the casual down-to-earth Mandy we see out and about, but she can totally pull off the glamorous look, too. Plus with her movie career and new album coming out, it's obvious that she's not the kind of girl to let the break-up with DJ AM get in her way. As usual, we can't wait to see what (and who) she gets into next!
