The "Boston Legal" star was happy to announce Tuesday that costar Julie Bowen was in labor after the 37-year-old actress' water broke while on the set of the Emmy-winning ABC series.
Later than night, at 10:15 p.m., Bowen and husband Scott Phillips welcomed their first child, son Oliver McLanahan Phillips, Bowen's rep confirmed to "E! News."
"He's here and Julie is doing great," the rep said. Oliver weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 inches-long.
Bowen and her real-estate investor hubby tied the knot in September 2004, after her four-year run on "Ed" had concluded but before discerning flashback aficionados got to know her as Jack's ex-wife on "Lost."
