A night out can be rare for new parents, but apparently Jess has been doing a good job of finding time for her friends, which is probably just one of the many reasons that she seems so happy these days.

Jessica Alba grabbed herself a fruity drink running errands around Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Most of you thought Jessica's latest Declare Yourself ad was more scary than effective but its admirable that the new mom made time for the provocative photo shoot that's causing so much buzz. Causing an even bigger reaction, however, was seeing Jessica's post baby bikini body down in Cabo last week though according to In Touch the actress is apparently still trying to motivate herself to drop a few more pounds by buying clothing in her old sizes. She looks pretty fantastic already especially when she has Honor to put a smile on her face.

Leave it to Jessica Alba — she looks great in a bikini already. The new mom of 4-month-old Honor flew down to Cabo for a little vacation over the weekend and took the opportunity to show off her bikini body. She splashed around with her husband Cash as well as their good friend Baron Davis playing in the sand and enjoying the Mexico sun. Jessica's been looking gorgeous and happy these days since baby Honor came into the picture, and apparently she's looking spectacular too. Between her happy little family and fun vacation with friends, she's quite the lucky girl.

Jessica Alba had a busy day in NYC yesterday, stopping by the runway at Narciso Rodriguez, taking Honor to look at apartments in Brooklyn, and meeting up with Cash for lunch at L'Express. It looks like something in the city air kept the actress beaming, but the family was on their way out of JFK this morning. You guys had mixed feelings about Jess's dramatic "Declare Yourself" ad, but we think you can all agree it's always a treat to get a peek at cute baby Honor.

Jessica Alba had tears in her eyes and tape over her mouth as the dramatic poster child for Declare Yourself. Jessica's trying to encourage young people to speak up by registering to vote. So far she's been actively involved in the Presidential Election, endorsing Obama and heading to the DNC and about this ad campaign she said,

"I really don’t see the point in not registering to vote. We sign up for MySpace pages and Facebook pages, and download music off the internet. The least people can do is register to vote online, actually making a difference in their world, not just making their lives a little bit cooler. It makes more sense to spend your time making a change in society—and it actually doesn’t take that much time! It takes more time to make a music playlist than it does to register to vote."
