Leonardo DiCaprio has jumped on the African adoption bandwagon--though he may want to hold off on investing in any "World's Best Dad" paraphernalia just yet.
Rather than taking on custody or guardianship of a child, DiCaprio is instead opting for financial sponsorship of a little girl he met while filming "Blood Diamond"--putting his parental commitment level more on par with Sally Struthers than Angelina Jolie.
"You can't help but not be affected when you're in a situation where there is a horrible AIDS rate and there is violence going on and there is poverty," the actor told E! News. "You have to get involved."
