Jay-Z may be at the top of his game right now after coming out of retirement and scoring big with his latest album, but that doesn't mean he can't take on more. He is the guy that said, "I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man." This time he's teamed up with GM to hip up the brand a bit. He was on hand with a bunch of other celebs like Carmen Electra, Nick Lachey, and Kristin Bell at a party thrown by the car corporation to show off their new inventory. Here's more:
Jay-Z and General Motors are teaming up to bring a stylish hue to a rugged sport utility vehicle. The music mogul emerged from a concept GMC Yukon Denali SUV on stage Saturday during a celebrity-filled party thrown by General Motors Corp. on the eve of media previews for the North American International Auto Show.
Painted "Jay-Z Blue," the SUV was developed through a partnership with the rapper during the past two years. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, worked with the company's global color studio to create the reflective blue color for the SUV.
"Hopefully I'll be able to drive one of them out of here tonight," he said.
Last year Lindsay Lohan made headlines for GM's fashion show since she exposed major side boob. This year LL was absent from the event perhaps since she was supposed to be recovering, or maybe she was invited back. Who knows, but again GM was able to get a ton of celebs to show off their latest models in celeb fashion style. It must cost GM a pretty penny to fly out all of these celebs. Jay-Z showed off the new Yukon Denali SUV that he helped design. Nick Lachey and Petra Nemcova walked the catwalk while they got support from Vanessa and James Blunt who sat in the audience and cheered them on.
