Ashton Kutcher was in San Franciso two months ago to announce his new online project, and last night he was back in the city to attend the MySpace 2.0 party. He's teaming up with the company to broadcast his show on MySpaceTV, and he joined their CEO Chris DeWolfe to check out DJ AM and the man who would have been DJ AM's father-in-law, Lionel Richie, at the bash. Chris chatted with geek about his company's plans to get more into music, while Ashton talked about the ways in which his three step-daughters influenced his latest venture and how he felt about the Obama victory he and Demi had campaigned for in Iowa. Here's more:

• On how his step-daughters influenced his new project: "I don't think you can help but have your personal influences in some ways get involved. My girls are a lot less gossipy, I think, than the Blah Girls. My girls are a little bit more — they've been in it for a while. When your mom is Demi Moore and your dad's Bruce Willis you tend to be less impressed by. . . Ashton Kutcher."
• On Obama's victory: "When he won, we watched a bunch of people rally around hope — and I haven't seen people come around something other than chaos in a long time. In 9/11, everybody rallied around a cause. In the tsunami, rallied around a cause. Katrina, rallied around a cause. And the other night we saw people rally around hope, which i think is a very powerful thing."

Ashton was just one of the many celebrities who threw their weight behind Obama, but he's really paving his own way as a media mogul in training — especially now that he's working on a new reality show with Tyra Banks.

Courteney Cox and Demi Moore's friends and family came out to support their directorial debuts last night at the Director's Guild of America headquarters in LA. Courteney's The Monday Before Thanksgiving and Demi's Streak are two of three short films, which you can watch here, produced for Glamour's Annual Reel Moments event. Courteney said she would love to be a director again, while Demi was happy to work with her daughter, Rumer. Amid more rumors of recent romantic dinners with John Mayer, Reel Moment alum Jennifer Aniston smiled and posed with her best friend. Ashton and Tallulah cheered on Demi as just two of the scores of loved ones and A-Listers who came out to celebrate the project along with the new directors.

After another Friday afternoon coaching his team, Ashton Kutcher joined Demi Moore at Iowa State University for the Vote Early For Change Rally on Saturday. The happy couple is traveling around Ashton's home state talking to university students about their support for Barack Obama and the importance of voting. Demi said, "That's what scares me, that if we have another four years of what I call the same dance, a different partner, that's not a dance I want to show up to." It was another big weekend for politics all around — wonder if the busy duo still found time to catch Friday's debate or Tina Fey back as Sarah Palin on SNL.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore showed that there's still time for fun in their hectic schedules, taking Scout to the go-kart track on Sunday. Ashton looks pretty silly stuffed into one of those cars, but we can't see him having any problem getting into the competitive spirit. Even though the girls are all grown up now, it's cute that these two aren't afraid to act like a couple of kids — next stop, Disneyland?
