ANYONE hoping to see Britney Spears perform at Cyndi Lauper's True Colors tour at L.A.'s Greek Theater on Saturday will be sorely disappointed. Spears' choreographer, Misha Gabriel, told People magazine she would hit the stage with Lauper, Rosie...
For all those Britney fans it looks like the exciting news about her surprise performance on Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Tour this weekend won't be happening. Turns out they actually wanted her to sing live. According to Page Six, "There's no way. Britney said she would only dance or lip-sync - and to be on stage with Cyndi, you have to actually perform. It's not happening now." Ouch. As harsh as it may be for Brit, we have to agree with Cyndi on this one - if Britney really wants to win back the hearts of her fans, she's going to have to step it up.
Finally. A real picture of Jayden James. And he's smiling and showing off his teeth. How cute! More good news for you Britney fans - she's getting back on stage again! Britney will be joining Cyndi Lauper and gang on her True Colors tour. People reports that Britney's choreographer, Misha Gabriel said, "June 30 at L.A.'s Greek Theatre, she's due to join Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes with special guest Jeffree Star and host Margaret Cho live onstage for the "True Colors" concert tour."
In fact she's been auditioning backup dancers for her special appearance. Those trying out for the spot even got to dance to Brit's new track. One backup dancer said, "It was dope. It reminded me of that one song you hear at 1:50 a.m., when they call last call at a club, and it's the hottest, nastiest song you've ever heard in your life and you've just got to put your drink down and dance to it. You've got no choice. Your body is insisting on it." Sounds amazing. We'd love to hear some new Britney hits - it's much better than reporting on her nights out on the town.
