Katie Holmes had her BlackBerry in hand as she strolled through NYC earlier today. She's been on vacation with Tom and Suri for the past few weeks, soaking up the sun in Brazil and playing at Disney World. This weekend the duo are rumored to be skipping the Oscars. It's just as well they have a little more relaxation before Katie gets to work on The Extra Man and Tom starts juggling all his potential new projects.

Katie Holmes was a gorgeous splash of color on Tom's arm at the premiere of Valkyrie in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil last night. After a relaxing few days including some visits to the beach and shopping with Suri, it was the main event. Tom's managed to win over a few hearts along the way - apparently making fawning fans of some reporters at yesterday morning's photo call. The couple looked happy and healthy together, though Katie's pretty dress and beautiful hair - not to mention the smile - stole the show from her adoring husband.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise looked camera ready on their way out to dinner in Rio de Janeiro last night. Katie looks happy to get away from the chilly NYC Winter in her hot little dress with Tom in his very movie star suit. Their international traveling toddler Suri skipped the evening out but after a long day playing together, the three-year-old could use some rest. Today Tom will be hitting the red carpet for another premiere of Valkyrie but a little work is worth it to mix up their relaxing trip down south.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes continued to tour Brazil with Suri yesterday after spending their weekend around Rio. They spent the afternoon on a private island owned by their plastic-surgeon friend Dr. Ivo Pitanguy, making time to stop and feed some ducks. They're entitled to a little celebration before Tom has to get back to work tomorrow for the South American premiere of Valkyrie; the movie is continuing to do well in the overseas box office and earned its second week at the No. 1 spot in the international circuit. Tom has reason to be proud of his latest film, and he's probably thrilled to share his success with his favorite girls.

The stars of Fox celebrated their shows last night at LA club My House as part of the TCAs. The Osbournes mingled to support their new reality show while the young and adorable cast of the new show Glee. Joshua Jackson looked fantastic right down to his Adidas shoes and beyond just chatting about the future of Fringe, Josh joked around a little about when it's appropriate to hit on girls, and how he always stars in shows that are set in Massachusetts but never shoot there (Dawson's was in NC, Fringe in NYC). Here's some highlights from Josh:

• On seeing Katie Holmes on Broadway: "No. I was going to go and then someone published this fake story about how I went and took her roses so I was like, well, I guess that's out."
• On women: "A funeral is a bad time to hit on a woman. I don't care what any guy says."
• On Boston vs. NYC: "Apparently I only do shows on television where my character name starts with a P, I've got some father issues, and they're set in Massachusetts. I thought there would be more grumbling amongst the crew. But I think the whole Boston - New York thing is vastly overblown unless they're playing a baseball game against each other. I was expecting riots in the streets but our dolly grip is from Boston and he seems to survive."

• On Dawsons vs. Fringe: "It's designed so that you live in a heightened universe in which anything is possible and the stakes are always literally like -- I would say, actually, that Dawson's Creek was a less melodramatic show. That was just teenagers being teenagers. This is like every day 'Oh my god, if we don't do this, it's the end of the world. No, not kidding, the end of the world!'"

Katie Holmes headed to the theater for All My Sons with Suri on Thursday, who navigated her Cabbage Patch Doll through the streets of NYC in a pink stroller. After the performance Katie was nice enough to sign autographs for her fans even with an armful of Suri and her many accessories. The Cruise girls have fallen into a reliable routine over the past few months, but all that will change when the curtain goes down for Katie for the last time on Sunday. As for celebrating her Broadway run, Tom said Katie will be hopping on a plane to LA to hit the Golden Globes and possibly toast to a big win for her husband.

We have grown accustomed to seeing the Cruises around Manhattan every single day since rehearsal started, but this Sunday marks her final performance for All My Sons. This holiday weekend remained mostly business for Katie Holmes who kept busy with her Broadway duties.
