General Hospital: "And so it ends..." (2/...
GH wrapped up its February 2006 sweeps storyline with a music montage set to "Answer" by Sarah McLachlan. In the first scene, Lucky brings Maxie to General Hospital to recieve the last antidote for the virus after finding her ready to die by B.J.'s grave.
"And so it ends..." - nice touch, GH!

A pregnant Laura falls down some stair & goes into labor
Luke, Lucas, Bobbie, and Lucky are all talking all the Brownstone, and Lucas says he wishes his dad was fun like Luke..right as Tony walks in. Meanwhile, Laura is being attacked but manages to escape outside but then while trying to run away she spills and falls. Tony is hurt that Lucas doesn't think he isn't funny like Luke. He tells a joke that Lucas thinks is hysterical. tony is horrorified that Bobbie took him to the catacombs and says he can't go there anymore because people die there. Bobbie takes Lucky and Lucas away and Tony apologizes to Luke and says he's just extra concerned for Lucas. Luke wants to know why tony continues to take his anger out on Bobbie. Luke tells Tony the story of Laura's kidnapping and her sleeping with Stavros. Laura is still across laying on the ground and when the thugs don't hear anything they decide to abandon her. She starts screaming out in pain and going into labor with Lulu.

Lulu is born!
Laura and Luke are the delivery room getting ready for Laura's c-section. Laura is scared she's going to die and starts to tell Luke to tell everyone she loves just how much she love them- expecially him, Lucky, Amy, and their new daughter. Then, Lulu is born! Laura is allowed to see her daughter for a moment and hold her before complications start to arise in her c-section. Laura starts hemorraging and needs a transvusion. Laura tells him to go to the baby and to save the baby instead of her if it comes down to it. Laura then starts having flashbacks of her and Lesley and calls out for her mother.

General Hospital - 1996 Emily learns the jitterbug
1996 - Emily prepares for the 50's dance at school by borrowing a poodleskirt from Bobbie. Emily calls Monica "Mom" for the first time. Bobbie becomes sentimental and Monica tells Emily about BJ. (Actually, at this point in the storyline, Bobbie is thinking about the daughter she gave up for adoption - Carly). Later, they test drive the poodleskirt by teaching Emily how to jitterbug. Watch Monica, Bobbie and Emily dance.

Laura is brought into ER
Luke returns home and hears Laura crying and screaming for him. He finds the door locked and jammed and has to break throw it. He finds her laying at the bottom of the stairs. She's brought into ER and Amy sees her and starts to cry and get hysterical for her sister. Steve says they have to take her into surgery. Amy kisses her head, and Laura says she wants them to save her baby. They determine Laura has to deliver the baby now via c-section and Luke is permitted to go with her. Lucky makes Laura promise she'll be alright, and sends Lucky to hang with Amy. Luke then preps up for surgery and talks to Bobbie- who agrees to be in surgery with them. Luke freaks out when Bobbie says she's worried about the baby.

Luke tells Laura he'll always wait for her
Luke talks to Bobbie about how despressed he is that Laura has taken the kids and is living the house while he's stuck living at Bobbie's. Bobbie thinks Laura being irrational, and slowly turns to subject to make it relate to Tony. Bobbie starts to trash Laura but Luke defends her (while Laura stands in the back and listens). Luke and Laura then talk about how they fell in love and about the fact that neither of them can change who they are. He then tells her that he'll always be waiting for her to come back to him. She also adds that lucky is doing a good job of keeping her and Lulu safe.

March 18, 1999. Part 5. Emily complains to Ned about the craziness happening at the Quartermaine mansion. Ned tries to cheer her up. Back at Kellys, Monica shows up and heads up to Tammy's room where Bobby says Luke is burned. Felicia manages to intercept Luke before he walks into Kelly's. Alan arrives and Bobby pushes him up stairs to Tammy's room. Alan and Monica look surprised at each other while Bobbie, Tammy and Tony close and chain the door. Sparks fly and the plotters hope that this will bring Alan and Monica together....again.

General Hospital - March 1999 Alan/Monica Reconcile Part 3
March 17, 1997. Part 3. Alan wakes up on Tammy's couch after falling asleep the night before. He has to go to work at the clinic and Tammy tells him to use her bathroom to freshen up. While he's in the bathroom, Monica arrives at her door to ask her about Alan's progress. Alan comes out of the bathroom saying something about spending the night. Monica thinks the worse (affair!!), says some nasty things to Alan and Tammy and storms out. Alan is angry that Monica talked to Tammy that way and he also storms out but out the back way to avoid Monica who is downstairs waiting for Bobbie. Monica has summoned Bobbie to Kelly's to talk but when Tammy comes over to try to explain, Monica stomps out. Bobbie and Tammy (mostly Bobbie) plot to get the two of them together.

General Hospital - 1994-1995 Pt 18 Monica's Breast Cancer
September 1994. Monica's first chemotherapy treatment. Jason volunteers to drive Monica to her first chemo treatment. Rather than actually going to oncology, she starts checking the charts of her patients and then heads off to the OR to observe surgery on one of her patients. Bobbie tells Alan and he wants to ring her neck.
Note: The title (Faces of the Heart) is included in this clip because ABC actually used the slower version of the music ... the one that usually runs during the end title. It's probably more suitable for the subject matter and it happened during a later episode, again one that involved Monica's illness.
