Filmed primarily in northeastern Louisiana with a few days in east Texas, production started on May 14, and ended on July 16, 2007. Then, production moved to Boston to film the key Harvard scenes at the prestigious Sanders Theatre in Memorial Hall as well as turning the Wang Theater's foyer into South Station circa 1935. 	My Tribute To Oprah Winfrey I have seen Oprah on TV since i was a little girl... I was a 1 year old baby when the show aired for the first time! hehe.. I've always enjoyed her shows, and very often been inspired by them. She is so amazing! I absolutely admire this woman! For a long time I've wanted to go to her show.. that would be such an extraordinary experience! Not only would it be going to USA... but also meeting the woman I would most like to be like... I try not to judge people and try seeing things from their side most of the time... I take great pleasure in contributing to charity... I sponsor a little boy in Uganda, and have been for 4 years, and it is the greatest feeling in the world... to be saving a human life! And to get to see how he does in school, what he likes or dislikes, get drawings and christmas cards... it's just so extraordinary :) I also recently started volunteering for the non profit that I am sponsoring for.. I go there when I have time to.. What I do there depends on what needs to be done that day.. or a project that is always there.. i think thats a good way to describe it.. I have been printing out envelopes for sponsors to put mail from the children in, matching un-sponsored childrens pictures to their profiles and putting them together, its all matched by codes of some sort.. sometimes i dont find the childs profile.. so it goes to "not found". I also was putting bills to sponsors in plastic envelopes.. This is just one thing that is possible to do in volunteering.. this way fits for me.. to be in an office and do that kind of work.. maybe i will do something else later on :) I also love giving gifts for no specific reason..i mean, no specific day (birthday, christmas, mothers day, fathers day) I just love to make people happy... I love spreading a message to make people aware, I just bought 2 documentaries that I love and i am hosting screenings for friends and family :) So, maybe i am feeling that there is some glympse of similarity in me and Oprah.. i dont know.. but i love what she does, and if i would swap lifes with anyone, it would be with hers lol.. but I want to be me,, you know, but I mean that she has the power to do what i would absolutely love to do... and i love that she is using that power, and enjoying it and appreciating every single bit of it :-) I just bought Oprah's 20th anniversary collection DVD's.. and I'm so thankful they made that.. now I can see her whenever I want to, and find scenes I love the most faster. and I can share them with friends and family :-) (don't own my own personal VHS or DVD recorder for TV.. so that's why I love to have the collection too :) ) I love that she talks about the scenes/ shows.. tells her story about it etc.. I think that is almost like meeting her... although it's not the same as actually meeting.. And I like the fact that she is exactly 31 years and 1 day older than me hehe.. we are in the same starsign :) aquarius... just a fun fact for a fan hehe.. nothing spectacular maybe.. 	Boyce Watkins, Wendy Williams (CNN) Oprah Winfrey v 50 Cent Boyce Watkins, Wendy Williams and Roland Martin are on CNN's Paula Zahn Now to discuss 50 Cent v. Oprah Winfrey. There was a feud going on between the rapper and Oprah, which led to tremendous chaos in the hip hop community. Watkins appeared with Williams on her show many times on WBLS in New York to help mediate the dispute. He also appeared with Williams later in the year to discuss the Jena 6 case with Al Sharpton. Finally, Watkins proposed marriage to his fiance, Romana Lavalas, on Wendy's show, leading to a national frenzy over his engagement. Wendy described Watkins as "One of the most eligible bachelors in America", which was part of the reason for her shock at his sudden wedding proposal in front of 11 million people. Dr. Watkins has also directly challenged Bill O'Reilly (O'Reilly Factor) on their racism and has referred to Juan Williams, a black FOX News analyst as "the eternally happy negro". Watkins is a regular contributor on issues related to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the 2008 presidential campaign. He was the source of some controversy with Bill O'Reilly from the O'Reilly Factor, and has been a guest on other Fox Shows such as Hannity & Colmes. Watkins wrote "What if George Bush were a Black Man?" and "Everything you ever wanted to know about college", which he argues is an appeal to the MTV generation to look past 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, TI, Kanye West and others to explore their educational potential. Dr. Boyce is a Finance Professor at Syracuse University and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He recently spoke at The University of Kentucky and demanded that they increase their numbers of black students and faculty. He was also one of the instrumental black leaders behind the scenes during the cases with the Jena 6, Don Imus and Michael Vick. He worked closely with Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson, appearing on the air with them to suggest strategies to get Imus off the air. It was Dr. Watkins' idea to challenge his corporate sponsors that led to Imus' dismissal. He was also outspoken on Barry Bonds' situation and the OJ Simpson trial. Watkins argues that Barry Bonds might be a jerk, but his alleged indiscretion is no worse than the evidence against Lance Armstrong for the use of performance enhancing drugs. He made his comments on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, The Wendy Williams Experience, CNN, FOX, BET, CBS and other networks. View Video
