"CARRIE"
Years ago when I was in college, I made of mix of Europe's song "Carrie," including .wav quotes from the movie, "Carrie." So, when I started making videos a few months ago, I decided to make a video version (but without the quotes). There were so many good scenes that I had to make two separate videos. This particular one chronicles everything that happens to her to the point before she starts getting revenge at the prom. For those who haven't seen the movie (why are you watching this video first?), there's a shower scene. I tried to censor/edit this video as much as possible, but it's not to supposed to excite you, anyway. It's a brutal moment. Anyway, I always cry like a baby when I watch the movie, and I think this video has a sadness to it, too. So, cry a little, laugh a little, but be warned. The devil is coming.

Rock N Roll High School (trailer)
One of the best-loved rock and roll movies of all time. Why? Uh, well maybe because THE RAMONES ARE IN IT and they fucking rock like hell takes over tomorrow, stupid! The cast is a seventies B-movie fan's dream, starring "big" names like PJ Soles, Mary Woronov, Clint Howard, Vince Van Patten, Dick Miller, and Paul Bartel. The Ramones were actually picked to star only after Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Devo, and Todd Rundgren were all first considered. Todd Rundgren?!! Jesus Christ! Thank god for small favors...

The One The Only The Classic.
On October 31, 1963, six-year-old Michael Audrey Myers stabs his sister Judith to death with a kitchen knife at their home in Haddonfield, Illinois. He is sent to Smith's Grove-Warren County Sanitarium and placed under the care of psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasance). Loomis suspects that there is more to Myers than meets the eye and plans to have him committed indefinitely, despite the fact that Michael seems docile and does not speak a word. At the age of 21, Myers escapes from Smith's Grove while being transferred, and returns to Haddonfield with Loomis in pursuit.
As Loomis attempts to convince the authorities in Haddonfield of the danger, Myers returns to his old home, abandoned ever since the time of the murder. Wearing a stolen white mask, Myers spots teenager Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) after she leaves a key on the doorstep of the old house as an errand for her father, a local realtor. Myers begins to stalk her, and Laurie glimpses him outside her classroom window, in a passing car while she walks home, behind a bush, and behind the neighbor's clothesline from her bedroom window. On the walk home from school with her friends Annie (Nancy Loomis) and Lynda (P.J. Soles), they discuss the babysitting assignments that Laurie and Annie have for the evening. Annie and Lynda plan on using the evening to indulge in sex with their boyfriends, while Laurie doesn't have a boyfriend and appears to be shy and virginal when it comes to boys.
Loomis talks to Leigh Brackett (Charles Cyphers), the sheriff of Haddonfield, about the threat of Myers returning to the town, but Brackett seems to be skeptical. Loomis explains to Brackett that he has been the boy's psychiatrist since the murder, and that he considers him to be very dangerous: "I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply evil."
Later in the evening, Laurie and Annie go to their separate babysitting assignments, unaware that they are being followed by Michael Myers. Annie is babysitting Lindsey Wallace (Kyle Richards), while Laurie is babysitting Tommy Doyle (Brian Andrews) across the street. Myers lurks outside the Wallace house staring in at Annie. When Annie arranges to pick up her boyfriend, she sends Lindsey to stay with Laurie until she returns. Annie heads back to the Wallace house and gets in her car, only to find every window fogged. Myers leaps up from the back seat, strangles Annie until she weakens, and slits her throat. Tommy sees him carrying her body into the Wallace house and thinks Myers is the Boogeyman. Laurie dismisses Tommy's terror as an overactive imagination.
Lynda and her boyfriend, Bob (John Michael Graham), arrive at the Wallace house to find it empty and dark. They retreat upstairs to have sex. Afterwards, Lynda orders Bob downstairs for a beer, where he is attacked by Myers, who lifts him up against the wall and stabs him through the stomach, pinning him to the door behind him. Myers returns to Lynda with a sheet over his head, wearing Bob's glasses on the outside of it. Lynda thinks it is Bob, but becomes annoyed when he refuses to answer her. She calls Laurie, but before she can speak, Myers strangles her to death with the telephone cord.
After receiving the strange call, Laurie becomes worried. She walks across the street and discovers bodies of Annie, Lynda, and Bob, as well as Judith Myers' tombstone that Michael has stolen from the graveyard. Laurie is attacked by Myers but escapes back to the Doyle house, with Myers in close pursuit. Laurie stabs Myers with a knitting needle in the neck, a clothes hanger in the eye and a knife to the chest, but he continues to pursue her. Eventually, Loomis spots Tommy and Lindsey running from the house and finds Myers in the upstairs hallway, attempting to strangle Laurie. Loomis rescues Laurie, shooting Myers six times and causing him to fall from the house's second-story balcony. Upon looking out the window for Myers' body, however, Loomis discovers that he is nowhere to be found. The film closes on a shot of the Myers house and the sound of Michael breathing beneath his mask.

"Revenge" by Revanche - Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
A strange mix of visuals from Stephen King's gothic horror novel and Brian DePalma's horror-classic, "Carrie" - mixed with Jacques Fred Petrus' production of Revanche's "Revenge"!
This is indeed a different take on the high energy sound of this dance floor gem. It is perfect "prom" music, as you will see.
"Carrie" was released in 1976 by United Artists. Rent the DVD.
This video mix was produced by Ken Emmons.

Rock'n'Roll High School Opening Titles
Opening titles for Allan Arkush's movie Rock'n'Roll High School.
Plot: Ramones just hit the teenage world and no town was spared. This music comedy centers on one high school, which is just living the indefinite clash of generations between adults (teachers) and students. And Ramones are coming to town for a concert. And Riff (P.J. Soles) has written song for Ramones. Tom (Vincent Van Patten) wants to get laid with her. And Kate (Dey Young) wants to get laid with him. Oppresive administration of the school is trying to stop kids' love for punk rock.
It's great fun film about 70s music, about its fans during the era. Just pure celebration of music and teenagers.

CCVS109 LOCAL H "Half Life"
CCVS109 LOCAL H "Half Life" Local H is a rock band, formed by Scott Lucas (lead vocals, guitar, bass) and Joe Daniels (drums). The two began playing together in their Illinois high school in 1987. After failed attempts at recruiting a bassist, Lucas took the unique approach of adding bass pickups to his electric guitar. http://www.localh.com/ Local H's first album, Ham Fisted, was released in 1995 to a modest degree of success. Their 1996 follow up album, As Good as Dead was however, certified gold and contained the popular singles "Bound for the Floor" and "Eddie Vedder." It was much more critically well-received, as was the 1998 follow up, Pack Up the Cats, which spawned the single "All the Kids Are Right". Unfortunately, the album's chances of success were stifled when their label, PolyGram, merged with Universal and the album was all but forgotten during the transition. http://www.myspace.com/localh Daniels left the band in 1999, leaving Lucas to recruit former Triple Fast Action drummer Brian St. Clair later in 1999. Brian St. Clair was the drummer for Triple Fast Action and a drum tech for Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. The two released their fourth album Here Comes the Zoo in 2002 under the Palm Pictures record label. The No Fun EP followed in 2003 and their fifth and most recent album, Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles?, was released in April 2004 to favorable reviews.
In 2005 the band received a good deal of publicity after performing a cover of the Britney Spears hit "Toxic". The studio-recorded cover was available on the band's website, and it can now be found as the last, and only studio recorded, track of Alive '05, a live album the band released in 2005. "Toxic" has been performed in recent concerts.
Local H is currently managed by former Triple Fast Action member Wes Kidd for Silent Partner Management. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_H
