"Home" ~~ Phantom of the Opera (Yeston & Kopit)
The song is "Home" from Maury Yeston & Arthur Kopit's 1992 musical "Phantom ~ The American Musical Sensation". The studio cast starred Richard White as Erik the Phantom & Glory Crampton as Christine Daee (dunno why they spelled it different!).
The scenes are from the 1990 "Phantom of the Opera" TV mini-series based on Kopit's script starring Charles Dance as Erik the Phantom & Teri Polo as Christine Daee.
Re-posting these clips now that the ugly "DEMO" has been removed. I'll take down all the old clips once these better ones are uploaded. :-)

Straight from the Heart- Cowboy, Take Me Away
This is a video of a wonderful Hallmark movie I saw called Straight from the Heart starring Andrew McCarthy and Teri Polo. If you ever get a chance to see it, you must, it's just great.
I just love this movie! Maybe it's because I'm sucker for Hallmark movies (hello, Love Comes Softly). Or maybe it's because I'm a sucker for cowboys, most probable of all is that I'm a sucker for Andrew McCarthy. Well actually, it's probably the fact that Andrew McCarthy is playing a cowboy in a Hallmark movie...
I really hope they make a sequel or something (perhaps I should write to Hallmark). They should have had some sort of epilogue during the credits....

Britney Spears loses custody of her kids
Hello on this Tuesday, the second of October 2007. I'm Rebecca Field with your UPI entertainment update.
Britney Spears has temporarily lost custody of her sons. A California judge awarded her ex Kevin Federline full custody of the kids yesterday following a closed-door meeting requested by Federline's lawyer. Spears will have to give up 2 year old Sean Preston and 1 year old Jayden James by tomorrow at noon. The judge gave no details about his decision. Last month the singer was ordered to undergo random drug testing twice a week and take parenting courses.
Actress Teri Polo is expecting a baby girl. People magazine says the "Meet the Parents" star is 7 months along with her boyfriend drummer Jamie Wollam. The two have been dating since 2004 and each have a son from previous marriages. Polo says they are quote "over the moon" excited about their new addition.
Actor and comedian Bob Saget is taking on Broadway. He'll apparently make his debut in the role of Man in Chair in the musical "The Drowsy Chaperone." The former "Full House" star will take the stage October 19 through February. Saget performed off-Broadway in the show "Privelage" in 2005.
Ben Affleck is admitting that his romance with Jennifer Lopez hurt his career. The actor tells "Details" magazine that people focused on their relationship instead of his work in movies. Affleck dated the singer from 2002 until 2004 when they broke of their engagement. Now the actor is married to actress Jennifer Garner and they have a daughter Violet. Currently, he's making his directorial debut in the new film "Gone Baby Gone."
Stars gathered on a red carpet last night for the premiere of a new historical drama. Cate Blanchett stars in "Elizabeth: The Golden Era"...returning to the role as the Queen she took in the first Elizabeth film in 1998. Shekhar Kapur who directed the movie was also at the premiere as well as cast member Abbie Cornish. Also starring in the film are Clive Owen and Geoffrey Rush. It hits U.S. theaters on October 12.

It is a fan movie based upon the screenplay by Arthur Kopit "The Phantom of the Opera" starring Charles Dance as the Phantom and Teri Polo as Christine, with an alternative ending, and as soundtrack the song "No one like you" by Sarah Brightman. It is rather about the beauty that people has inside, in this case, specially about the phantom.

This is my favourite version of Phantom, Charles Dance for me WAS the Phantom and no one else has been able to come close since.
He really is a tragic and intelligent character but he's also been locked away since he was born, his mind verging on madness.
Anyway back to the video.
It's all about Erik and his feelings. He loves Christine deeply but can't let her get too close to him as he's afraid what may happen...he also can never let her go.
Christine thinks she loves him too but in truth she is confusing respect and thankfullness for love...that is why she cannot look upon his face.
Erik is asking Christine to see him the way he sees her and to try and understand his point of view. Finally at the end she does and can look at his face and smile.

Phantom Of The Opera - Remorse - Lovex

This is a little more fan fiction.
The Remorse Erik feels is showing Christine his face and destroying all they had.
The start of the video is the present, after this we see how Erik & Christine met and how their relationship grew, Erik saving her and loving her. Christine convinces Erik she loves him too but in truth she wants both worlds and longs to be with "normal" people and she seeks this in lively clubs. Erik becomes suspicious and asks her where she goes but she lies to him, he doesn't believe her and follows her one night. He sees that she is going to a club full of light, life and laughter something he could never offer her.
Christine begins to doubt her love for Erik and keeps going to the club, Erik follows her again and sees her in another mans arms which sends him into dispear. To try and keep her he brings Christine down to his domain and, when she begs him to, he premits her to look upon his face (this is now the present).
Christine faints at the sight of him and Erik become enraged, when Christine awakes she tries to flee but Erik follows her, determined to keep her with him forever, but Christine manages to escape and Erik is forced back down into the tunnels.
Christine regrets what she has done, seeing that she does love Erik, but in her heart she already knows that Erik has died from a broken heart T_T
