"The Fantastic Journey" was broadcast opposite "The Waltons" and "Welcome Back Kotter". A doomsday timeslot if there ever was one for a brand new Sci-fi/fantasy show to breakthru in 1977! I decided to have a little fun with captions and The Fantastic Journey's music with this clip of Jared's stunning guest appearance in "The Waltons" episode "The Portrait". Waltons fans forgive me, it's in good humor, but your show was simply too popular for my show to survive! LOL! If only Varian had done this earlier!!! Found out the name of the actress: Mary Beth McDonough. Please pardon the poor sound and video. It's a digital copy of a digital copy of a DVR copy. From Season 7, not out yet. Enjoy!
