Home Alone 4 - Clips ft Joanna Going
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0329200/ Christmas this year looks bad to Kevin McCallister. His parents Peter and Kate have been separated for the past 8 months, and things at home with Kate are difficult enough without the bullying dealt to Kevin by his older brother Buzz and older sister Megan. Peter invites Kevin and his siblings to stay with him and his rich new girlfriend Natalie for Christmas. Kate simply offers the kids love and affection. The kids side with Kate, but Kevin is thinking hard about the invitation. On Christmas Eve, Kevin sneaks to Natalie's place to spend the holidays with Peter. Natalie lives in a mansion where almost everything responds to remote commands. Butler Prescott and kindly housekeeper Molly are at Kevin's beck and call. Peter and Natalie leave for a while. At Christmas, they will be picking up some house guests at the airport, including an 11-year-old crown prince. Kevin witnesses his old enemy Marv Merchants and Marv's wife Vera breaking in to case the mansion with the help of an insider who gave Marv a remote control to it. Natalie and Peter don't believe Kevin, and Prescott says he saw nothing, which makes Kevin think maybe Prescott is the insider. Peter decides they should all trim the Christmas tree, and they do. Kate comes over to bring Kevin some things, and it becomes obvious to Kevin that Kate and Peter still love each other deep down inside. Marv and Vera plan to kidnap the prince and decide to make their move on Christmas morning. Upon learning about this, Kevin rigs the house with booby traps. Come Christmas morning, Kevin is left at the mansion while Natalie and Peter go out to pick up the guests. In their absence, Marv and Vera break in again, looking for the prince. But they didn't know that they'd find Kevin in there, with a bunch of painful booby traps for them.

The Outer Limits - Worlds Within - Clips ft Joanna Going
WORLDS WITHIN Directed by: Steve Anker Written by: Michael Sloan
A brilliant, terminally ill scientist discovers a strange connection to a brain-dead boy trapped between two worlds.
Anya (JOANNA GOING) is a renowned scientist slowly dying of a wasting disease when she's invited to work at the prestigious Burkmeer Research Centre. In a tank at Burkmeer lies the shriveled shell of what should have been a boy. Named Sasha, but dubbed URS-28 by the scientists who experiment on his genetically mutated form, he has survived on life support since his mother died at Chernobyl when he was a fetus. At Burkmeer, science defines life and death based on brain function, and Sasha has none. Instead, he emits high-intensity electromagnetic pulses and, just once, tachyons — the only thing in the universe that travels faster than light. Anya's ex-boyfriend David (GERAINT WYN-DAVIES) wants Anya's help in recreating the tachyon emission, but when Anya begins her experiments she discovers something quite different. While giving Sasha an injection she is transferred into the boy's other universe, a universe where he is a child, not a science experiment, and where his grieving mother waits for him to be transported into the next world. Anya realizes her own tragic fate may be the single thing that can help Sasha escape his living hell.
GUEST CAST Joanna Going as Anya Samantha Sewell as Mother Geraint Wyn Davies as David William B. Davie as Dr. Biemler Haig Sutherland as Roy Khaira Ledeyo as Jane Johanna Newmarch as Nancy

Inventing The Abbotts - Clips Featuring Joanna Going
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119381/ The lives of two closely linked families dangerously intersect in a small Illinois town in the 1950s. Though they are from the wrong side of the tracks, the working class brothers Jacey and Doug Holt are in love with the wealthy and beautiful Abbott sisters. Shy and quiet Doug, who worships his womanizing brother, has eyes for the iconoclastic Pamela, but Jacey's affections are more calculating: he's interested in whichever Abbott sister is interested in him.
At first, this is the wild sister Eleanor, but eventually Jacey sets his sights on the unhappily married oldest sister Alice. For Jacey, his conquest of the Abbotts is a form of economic revenge, as he believes that Lloyd Abbott, the head of the family, stole a patent that made him rich from the Holts' late father, John Charles. When he's eventually revealed as an embittered cad, Jacey's mistreatment of the Abbott girls makes the genuine affection between Doug and Pamela impossible for either family to accept.

Going To Extremes - Clips ft Joanna Going
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103425/ (1992) This hour-long dramatic comedy featured American medical students undergoing their training on a tropical island. Joanna Going as Dr Kathleen McDermott. Solid show that didn't last long enough. Basically it was Northern Exposure set in the Caribbean...quirky characters, doctors, and all. Definitely deserved a better fate, or at least a better time slot.

Wyatt Earp - 1994 Epic Clips ft Joanna Going
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111756/ As epics go, this film ranks high on my list. I attribute this mainly to the screenplay, which is compelling, visual, and rich. The film follows the life of Wyatt Earp, from his boyhood, through the fight at the O.K. Corrall, and beyond.
Unlike other adaptations of the same subject (namely, Kurt Russell's Earp in 'Tombstone'), this film deals with the famous gunfight as merely a step in Earp's life. Rather, the film focuses on the man behind the legend. To do this, it looks at Earp's life in two stages: his life before, and after, a major transition.
Contrary to what some may think, Kevin Costner does a very good job portraying the lawman. His character experiences a wealth of emotion, but the script is so well written that Costner does not need to stretch himself to portray Earp effectively.
The film comes together so well because of an excellent musical score, visually stunning cinematography, and strong acting by the supporting characters. It draws the viewer in, so much so that you do not feel you are watching a film, but are experiencing a moment in history. The direction by Kasdan is quite low-key, allowing the viewer to be drawn into the story, rather than simply showing it to us.
I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys epic stories, wonderful acting (particularly Dennis Quaid, although Tom Sizemore and Michael Madsen are excellent as well), and visually compelling shots. Do not let the length dissuade you: Kasdan's film is well worth the three hours.

Netforce - Clips featuring Joanna Going
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0158423/
Essentially a cautionary tale of slightly futuristic cyberterrorism, Netforce carries Tom Clancy's heavyweight name as the executive producer (but not writer). Don't expect a drama on the level of Patriot Games, however: Netforce is a blunt and somewhat rushed thriller with little time for character or relationship development. What it does offer is a scenario for the prospect of organized crime uniting with computer geeks and malevolent industrialists to sabotage national security through attacks on the Internet. Scott Bakula plays the FBI agent in charge of the Netforce division of the bureau; he takes charge after his mentor (Kris Kristofferson) is murdered and the investigation points to the involvement of a Web pioneer (Judge Reinhold). The hero's romance with a colleague (Joanna Going) grows a little trickier after he promotes her to the number two spot behind himself, but with the president's chief of staff (Brian Dennehy) breathing down their necks, that's the least of their professional problems. The action bounces around from good guys to sundry bad guys, but there's no question that a creeping paranoia about Net vulnerability and its disastrous implications grows on this production--and the viewers. Joanna, semi-precious stones jewelry
Do you know what Labradorite is? I didn't before having a chat with Joanna Going, a former newspaper Internet guru who now spends her time making jewelry.
I met Joanna at a new construction open house hosted by Linda Martin of Coldwell Banker's Winnetka North office.
Joanna's name sounded familiar and, after some back-and-forth, I recalled talking to her when she was with the Boston Globe. Small world.
