Genere Commedia produzione USA, 2001 Durata 89 minuti circa. Il trailer: Janey Briggs è una perdente: è bruttina, impacciata e antipatica. Jake Wyler è invece un vincente: è bello, atletico e prestante. La recensione: Il film vorrebbe essere una parodia demenziale dei tanto acclamati High School movies più recenti. Essendo il filone degli high school/college movies dal canto suo già demenziale e parodistico è inutile chiedersi quale sia il senso di questo prodotto($). Troviamo tutti i clichè all'eccesso: Il campione della squadra di football finisce in panchina(?), lo sfigato di turno è sfigatissimo, la leader delle cheer-leaders è stupidissima, la ragazza lasciva è una ninfomane dalle brame incestuose e così via. C'è anche la classica scommessa che il capo della banda fa con il suo gruppetto di amici: riuscirà o no a portare al ballo la cenerentola della scuola? Ci troviamo davanti a un incoerente pasticcio a tutto tondo che dimentica in breve i propri propositi di originalità dando vita a volgarità e brutture di bassissima lega, finendo col confondersi, sfigurando, con i titoli dai quali si vorrebbe distinguere. Il tentativo di canzonare/celebrare i vari American Pie e cloni fallisce miseramente col sorriso (ebete) sulle labbra; non dello spettatore, si intende. Basta togliere il "non" e il gioco è fatto: un'altra stupida commedia americana. La Critica: Nel solito college da stupida commedia americana, il figo dell'istituto scommette con degli amici che riuscirà a far diventare reginetta del ballo la più scorfana di tutte. Lei in verità, più che brutta, è una ribelle asociale e dedita all'autoerotismo (la prima scena, tanto per capire da che parti stiamo, la mostra la mattina del suo compleanno alle prese con un enorme vibratore rosa mentre nella sua stanza si presentano a poco a poco amici e parenti a farle gli auguri). Una abominevole commediaccia demenziale, che vorrebbe seguire la scia "oltranzista" del politically uncorrect dei fratelli Farrelly e dei fratelli Wayans. E dunque culi, tette, oceani di cacca che investono le aule, adolescenti foruncolosi e pin-up. View Video
