Night and Day - Alex and Roxanne
A scene from the UK series Night & Day (2001-2003). One of the main traits of this weird and very original "soap" was its use of fantasy scenes. Some of them were dark and sinister, and some were hilarious. This is a scene from the omnibus episode 97-98-99 (aired on ITV on 20 June 2002). Alex Wells (Joe McGann) and Roxanne Doyle (Lysette Anthony) have been living together for 17 years and have children together, but she has been refusing his offer of marriage until this point. The ending of this scene is a good example of the show's use of camp and irony.

Second part of my montage of the scenes from omnibus episode 160-161-162 (14 November 2002) of "Night & Day" (the 1st part:

Pay attention to the weird scene at the very end. Yes, the man's voice belongs to Danny (Shane Richie). (Richie, who will appear much later in the series in the role of Danny, was credited in this episode, even though Danny'a face still remained unseen).

A montage I made of the most interesting scenes from omnibus episode 160-161-162 (14 November 2002) of "Night & Day". The footage was too long so I had to upload it in two parts. Josh is tormented by strange visions, but he can't be sure if they are only products of his mind or not, and if they are visions or memories. If the things he sees are real, it seems Jane was at a very dark place, both literally and metaphorically. The words written on the catacombs wall might be the clue to what happened to Jane.
