she is somewhere in arizona. she called her from an area code near where wendy was working. wendy was calm about it. the police are working on the situation. hopefully it will be fixed soon. if not wendy's halo friends will find her ourselves!

i know her as wendy latella.or wee.or wendstar. never wendell. lol she is one of my online gamer friends. we used to get pissed when she would be on for a few nights in a row then gone for two weeks. she was a good player so we didnt delete her from our group. i didnt believe it at first when she said what she did for a living. then she shared this funny movie she did. shes really good at gaming, but even better at acting. wendy, im still going to beat you at ddr one day! til then, see you on halo! girl power!!!

Does anyone know whether or not that psycho woman from Germany ever contacted Wendy in the states? I know that she moved to the area to the post Jason was getting PCS'd to. I'm just wondering if the police got the b**** yet?

I know Wendy from Schweinfurt, Germany. She was stationed here with her husband. She was a constant source of energy and enthusiasm on post and was a very involved volunteer. I have it on good authority that she donated over 3,000 of her personal hours for three years in a row. She was very involved with the Spouses' Club, served in her husband FRG, and she worked with MWR across Europe on many theatrical programs. Her private life was kept that, but many of us knew she was also working in the German theaters and filming. I heard her once rehearsing a script in another language. Not English, German, or Spanish. I do not know what language it was. She was a benefit to our community and she is greatly missed now that she is gone.
Other gossip: She was very rarily anything other than happy and pleasant to work with. She was my personal cheerleader on many of the projects we worked on together. She is the Energizer Bunny and kept working hard. She is a motivator, a good friend, and a good listener.
Knowing that you would also like bad gossip, I can also tell you that she was a bit of a rebel with a cause. I heard her once verbally bitch slap a customer in line in front of her at the PX on post. The customer was being 'intolerably rude' to the cashier and Wendy, big smiled, leveled the customer without them knowing it. After the customer left, she appologized to the cashier and then reported the cashier to management as a 'star example' of how to handle rude customers. The cashier received a gift certificate from the store.
She's a riot to be around and as smart, nurturing, and sincere she is, she can also be sarcastic and funnier than all hell. She can catch you off guard with her many one-liners and zingers, but she does not joke at others expense.
She is a classy, good person to know.
(Now that I wrote this, can you tell the Army to send her husband to Ft. Carson so that she'll be there when we get there?)
