Tiana Alexandra was born "Thi Thanh Nga" in 1961 in Vietnam. Her family were prominent in the Vietnam government as they moved to the US in 1966 when she was only 5. She lived a very privileged life of a diplomat in the US as she had a bodyguard and driver at her disposal. She graduated from High School at age 15 and went straight to Hollywood where she changed her name to "Tiana Alexandra". She is the only woman to be personally trained by martial arts great Bruce Lee (when he wasn't a big star at that time). Tiana considers herself the female equivalent of Bruce Lee. She was in a few low budget karate flicks, none of which achieved any considerable success. In 1987 she starred with Rod Steiger in the movie Catch the Heat (1987). This is perhaps the peak of her career as an actress. She was only 26 years old at that time. Her two brothers are State Troopers for the California Highway Patrol.
