Delicately pretty, slender and winsome brunette actress Starr Andreeff was born in March, 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She began her show business career as a participant in beauty pageants (she was a semi-finalist in the 1980 Miss Teen Canada Pageant). Andreeff appeared in a bunch of low-budget horror movies made throughout the 80s and 90s. Starr gave a fine and touching performance as depressed and suicidal stripper Jodi in the excellent indie fright feature gem "Dance of the Damned." She was very likable as Sue in "The Terror Within" and quite appealing as Susan in "Syngenor." Andreeff had a nice bit as a policewoman on horseback in the gritty "Streets." Her last film to date was the dreadful "Club Vampire." She had a recurring part as lawyer Jessica Holmes on the popular daytime soap opera "General Hospital." Among the TV shows Starr did guest spots on are "Mike Hammer, Private Eye," "Faerie Tale Theatre," "Falcon Crest," "The Golden Girls," and "The Facts of Life." Starr Andreeff still occasionally acts in TV commercials and oversees all production and artistic development as Vice President/A&R at Maple Jam Records.
