Oana Bogdan was born in 1968 in Romania. She moved to Algeria with her family in 1974, and then the New York/New Jersey area in 1976. Studied Interior Design at Syracuse University in New York and received her BFA from there in 1990. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. She is fluent in Romanian and near-fluent in French. Her big break came when she began working on the movie StaRGATE. She is currently a member of ADG (Production Designer/Art Director Guild) and the Set Designer's Union.
