Courtney has a vast cultural heritage her parents stem from Colombian, Cherokee, Malaysian and Japanese roots. Her original name is Laura Grace Franco-Sasaki; however her grandmother re-married an English man and she took the name, Laura Webb. She is fluent in Spanish, Japanese and EnglishShe became a model at the age of 15 for Models Direct, then got accepted for The BRIT School for Performing Arts in Croydon. Filmed a movie based on the Japanese Ghost Mythology became a full fledged actor once graduated from the BRIT School. Soon after got offers to appear in voice overs and low budget horror films.However in June 2006, at the age of 18 was introduced to a writer named Claudia at a charity event who wrote plays for the West End and got inspired to write a novel named "Saffron", which will be completed by 2008, the novel is a first of a trilogy. At the moment other projects include a manga called "RockGod", inspired by the Yaoi story "Gravitation" and the famous anime/movie manga series, "NANA" it follows a 16 year old dream to meet the man of her dreams who is in a famous band called Legion.Now goes by the name of Laura Franki.
