Margaret Wang, daughter of Hong Kong former movie star Shaw Yao, grew up in Indonesia. After her study in the US, she later moved to her mother's native country Taiwan. She started her career as a model for print and tv commericals such as Biore, Wrigley, and Organic hair products. She then landed a role in a Singaporean indipendent film "February 14th." Taiwan Vogue named her as a promising upcoming young star. Since then, she has been featured in the Academy Award winner Peter Pau's film "The Touch," and many other tv series in Taiwan. Her TV series, "Snow Angel", is currently one of the biggest hits in Asia.
