Colleen began her career in show business in Los Angeles, California. She got her first taste while living in Studio City by attending acting classes and working as an assistant for a child actress. Colleen worked in various jobs on television, media and film productions in LA, before producing her own documentary, Tibet in America. Colleen went on to produce two media projects benefiting the environment, including a documentary. Production took place in Hollywood, California and Key Largo, Florida. Colleen relocated to New York City in 2002 and has continued to work in the entertainment industry on various feature film and television projects, including "Slingshot", written by Matthew Quinn Martin, with whom she is now production partner. She is currently producing "Box", written and directed by him. Colleen has also worked with people such as David Arquette, Julianna Margulies, Thora Birch, Adam Wylie, Bill Sadler, Mariska Hargitay, Janeane Garofalo, Balthazar Getty, and many more.
