Raised in Georgia and then went to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Favorite horror movie is The Omen (1976). Name origins come from her father's name, Dee. Considered for the role of Susan Storm/Invisible Girl in Fantastic Four (2005). Received a Silver Star Alumni Award from her alma mater, The University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2006.
