Equipped with her mother's fair skin and beauty and an acting edge from her father, Piyada Akraseni first stepped into the lime light in Xact's weepy soap opera 'Torfun Kum Mawin.' The TV series shot her into stardom as the following years saw her regularly appearing in other TV dramas. Piyada, or as her Thai fans call her, Aom, is the eldest daughter of the once famous actor/director Pisan Akraseni. To date, she has only collaborated with her director father twice, long after gaining public acceptance by herself, and has vowed never to repeat those experiences again. She is one of the director's four children and has two brothers and a sister. 'The Remaker' marks her debut into Thailand's blossoming film industry.
