Holds the world record in the 200-meter breaststroke. Won her first gold medal at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, Georgia when she was 14-years-old. Won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Won a gold (her first individual gold in the 200-meter breaststroke) and 2 silver medals at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. World-record holder in the 200-meter breaststroke, which she set at the Olympic Trials in July 2004. Attends the University of Arizona where she trains with her coach Frank Busch & is majoring in Retail & Consumer Sciences Ranked as #79 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005" special supplement.
