Her younger sister, Marissa, died in a car accident in October of 2001. Ana is not only an actress but she is also a very popular Latin pop singer in her home country of Mexico with her biggest hit being "No Llorare" that peaked at #3 on the Billboard Latin Regional Mexican Airplay chart in 1996. Gave birth to a son by C-Section, on December 2, 2006. This is the couple's first child together. She has a son, Emiliano (born 2000), from a previous relationship. Her husband Jose Maria has children from previous marriages.
