She attended the University of Texas at Austin for 3 years and studied in Salamanca, Spain for 6 months before interning at MTV Films in the summer of 1998. After meeting actor/comedian Andy Dick, she sang on his musical soundtrack, "Andy Dick's Circus of Freaks" and a few years later perfomed in a few episodes of "The Andy Dick Show" (2001).
