Graduated from St. Michaels University School in Victoria, British Columbia in 1982, after getting her big-screen start by being cast in a Paul Almond film Ups & Downs (1981) shot there in her graduating year. She and Max Martini were at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, B.C. in 1981-1982; Max was in Grade 7, while Leslie was in Grade 12. They lived on the same campus and ate in the same dining hall, but Max attended classes on a different campus. Played Kiefer Sutherland's wife during the first season of "24" (2001). She currently stars with Kiefer's father, Donald Sutherland (I)', on the TV series "Commander in Chief" (2005).
