Earned a master's degree in journalism from NYU in 1997. Is from the same Metro Area as Martin Lawrence, Alan Heitz, Dave Chappelle, Mya, Sandra Bullock and Dwayne Winstead. She played Coretta Lipp in the drama "Ally McBeal" and in Scary Movie 2, her character made fun of Calista Flockhart. When she was 30 years old, she played a high-school character in Scary Movie, which was very believable. Is currently living with Sanaa Lathan due to repairs being made to her home [2006]. Played in 3 movies with actress Sanaa Lathan : Love and Basketball, 'Disappearing Acts', and The Best Man.
