Has three children (Oliver, Nick and Theo) Both Jami and Tom Cruise made their film debuts in Endless Love (1981). Has two brothers, Michael and Scott. Caught the acting bug after winning the role of Dorothy in a grammar school production of "The Wizard of Oz". Originally planned on being a figure skater. Is of Italian extraction.
