Cameron Michelle Diaz was born on August 30, 1972. Cameron was born in San Diego, California. Cameron has an older sister named Chimene. When Cameron Diaz was 16 she met a photographer at a party who suggested she try modeling. He put in a good word for Cameron at the Elite modeling agency and for the next five years she traveled the world modeling for big names like Calvin Klein and Seventeen Magazine. After auditioning 12 times for the role, Cameron Diaz landed a leading role in The Mask with Jim Carrey. She honed her skills in several low-budget independent films before her comedy movie My Best Friend's Wedding. Since then, she's kept us laughing in “There's Something About Mary” “and “Charlie's Angels“.
